They received the book in dreadful condition!!!
My dtr figured that it had to be run over by a car or something like that and some person picked it up, saw it was a library book and returned it!
At the time she was still looking for it around her house. We think it must have fallen out of her car.
BarbaraBarbara C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13370704652033210300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30398829.post-83662660215861470782007-11-21T21:46:00.000-08:002007-11-21T21:46:00.000-08:00Mom sez her bunny usta do that to books. However this one was no deep mystery. Without even opening the cover, I knew that "the dog did it."

BTW, just picked up "What is the What" after listening to Dianne Rehm's book discussion today. Started reading it over my egg salad sandwich at lunch and I'm wishing I could cancel the next two days to allow me to sit and read.Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16226371437929271405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30398829.post-3467754262402162252007-11-21T09:42:00.000-08:002007-11-21T09:42:00.000-08:00LOL first glance told me 'the dog ate it'. They left the library at a run, as if we wouldn't know who had it checked out. My favorite, though is the copy of "Pet Therapy for the Elderly" that was returned all chewed up by little puppy teeth. I have to wonder how successful the therapy was.Purple Fuzzy Mittenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04496840350757117089noreply@blogger.com
