First Day of June

These are the last three of the six hats that I needed to get done so I could taken them down to the Brewery Arts Center in our state's capital. I try to keep at least a dozen hats in stock and knew that I was really low. Plus I needed to take more soap. Carson City is about a 80 minute drive from here. I usually just mail things down, but I really needed to verify my inventory.

I didn't realize they had finished a section of freeway and completely drove past Carson City and ended up about three miles east of town. The legislature is still in session so I was punished terribly by the traffic. It's a good place not to live.

Granddaughter Alexia has been very lucky to attend the university's daycare program from the beginning. Yesterday was Teacher Kelley's last day - she's moving on with other plans. Allie will miss her very much.

I hope you take the time to view the short videos that Cindy has listed. They're all spinning and weaving themed and absolutely wonderful. I strayed and watched a couple of videos of modern weavers. We cheat.
