Proximidade!

I received this award from Kathleen. It's to acknowledge the following qualities. "This blog invests and believes in the PROXIMITY-nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers!”

Wow - thanks Kathleen. My poor neck is straining to hold up my swollen head! Recipients are to pass on the award to eight other bloggers. This is a challenge since according to Bloglines, I follow exactly 36 blogs and that includes I Can Haz Cheezburger? I love the sentiment of this award since I think it exemplifies the qualities of bloggers that I enjoy and value. Some of my blog friends are people I have met, so in the nature of the proximity basis of this award, I will chose blog friends whom I have not met but whom I have come to know and value: Tina, Jodi, Sylvia, Michelle, Valerie, Robin, Marie, and Leigh.

Congrats! You certainly deserve it. Thanks for passing the award along to me, too.

Wow, thanks! In reading the write-up, someone put a lot of thought into this. It does describe one of my goals for my blog.

How did I get 12 posts behind for your blog? I save it for last because I always find what you write so interesting (and I follow over 250 blogs). Lately the computer time has been crazy so I've been interrupted before getting to you. Apologies!

Your blog is definitely deserving of the award. I don't know about mine, but thank you. Guess I'd better go post something!

Love the liturgical colourway. Know what you mean about the recession touching friends. Glad you were able to take in the neighbor's dog. Your handspun looks gorgeous. That photo of the clouds with the sun is neat. The grand-daughter's stretching is a hoot! --syl
