Sue has called for the Colors of the Month. I realize now that I don't tend to venture out with camera in extreme weather. It's been nicer here and it's been not nicer here. Colors of January from Northwest Nevada.
Lovely pictures, Sharon! Snow is a lot better when the sun shines! That's what we have today, but mostly it was foggy, grey, depressing... So good to see it can be different! And also good to find you as another book-loving fiber lover!
Well, I'm the anonymous! I clicked too soon. Such pretty wintry photos, Sharon. Your landscape shots are just amazing to me - so different than what I'm used to.
The colors are pretty much the same here as last month. The navel oranges are a bit deeper orange, the grapefruit are fully ripe, oh, and a bunch of hardwood fruit trees are covered in beautiful white blossoms. The camelias are in bloom but rather dreary from all the rain. Definitely more green here than gray -- I sure miss true winter.

It is pretty there, it a cold and wintry way.
We had a huge rain storm yesterday, but not enough to wash all the snow away.
Think spring!!

Outstanding photography in this one, Sharon. Nice work! I'll come back to this post to see a little sunshine now and then.
Incredible clear colours! I had a chance to go to Las Vegas for 3 or 4 nights this week but I turned it down cause I have to look after my kitty kids.

I love your colors of January! They are the kind of colors I would put together in a weaving or knitting. I need to get mine up too.
Very pretty! Love your little cat - he looks like my daughter's cat, Sherman...
I love your photos.

I have been enjoying your snow photos - somehow Nevada and snow don't seem to go together in my mind! Evelyn
