The Colors of April

Sue has put up the call for colors of the month, and I don't have much color to offer. We woke up to snow this morning, but it pretty well melted during the day. It's nearly May, there's still not much growing and we're running low on firewood. It's snowing now again and sticking, but the promise of spring is in the air and the wildflowers next month are going to be spectacular. The best part of all of this is that I get to live here full time.

Good evening,

Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and leaving a comment. Your comment brought me right back here and I am glad that it did. Your Colors of April are so very much different and I love them! I love the animals all together keeping warm.

Very best,

You've got more firewood left than we do, but then again we're not getting snow. Stay warm!

Not much colour indeed but those green speckles here and there makes it beautiful anyway. But still snow brrrr :-( I don't envy you.

You seem to take the snow pretty philospohically. I'd be going crazy if I woke up to snow this time of year.

So, is your garden all planted and ready to go as soon as it warms up?

Oh Sharon: snow even at this time of the year! Brrrr...
I feel so lucky that I was able to feel some lovely sun.
But I love your pictures, especially the one of your animals!

So much fun to see everyone's April colors. Love the shot of the critters.

Sitting in my sunroom, looking out at my flowering crabapple tree, I feel a little guilty looking at your colors of April. I'm so enjoying our unusually early spring this year. It doesn't seem fair that it hasn't happened everywhere!

I hope warmth finds its way to you guys soon!!! Snow this late in the year seems unfair! (Although we had a flurry this week too...)
