
giving pies. This is my favorite of the all the holidays - no gifts, just family. Amy spent it with us this year and contributed these gorgeous berry pies, one crust marked "W" for with and the other without. With what? Licker, as my daughter said.


Dinner was followed by a rousing game of dice - the perfect end to a perfect meal. Who won?? Me! Beginner's luck, I say.

Your holiday was the polar opposite of ours, which we ended up spending alone when my sister and her boyfriend changed plans. I like quiet times, but Rick was bummed. The next day we got to pick out our puppy, though, so who remembers the quiet Thanksgiving!?!
